St Francis at the Engine Room
The Church of St Francis at the Engine Room is housed in the newest church in the Diocese of London, and when completed in October 2017 was the first new Anglican church in London for over 40 years.
We began worshipping in a temporary space in October 2013, serving the people of Hale Village, Ferry Lane and Bream Close estates.
Our growing church worships each Sunday at 11am with an informal Eucharist, offering activities for children, young people and space for adults to develop their faith.
On the last Sunday of each month we have a ‘bring and share’ lunch following the service, where we get to know each other a little better over some food and drink.Every day of the week our Chapel is available for private prayer or simply a quiet place for personal reflection.
We are a diverse group of people who strive to be an inclusive and welcoming community.
Come and say hello!
